Whats app Emoji Burst

A refined micro-interaction that simplifies emoji selection and enhances emotional expression.

By long-pressing an emoji, users can instantly access related ones within the same emotional group, reducing the need to navigate long lists. Built on familiar gesture patterns, the feature improves efficiency while supporting nuanced communication.

It demonstrates how subtle interaction design can make everyday expression more fluid and intuitive.

India in Maps

An interactive data visualisation that turns Indian state's data into a social correlation map.

Pick any two metrics like literacy, salary, crime rate or gender ratio and watch the map shift in real time. Each combination reveals patterns and contradictions that challenge our assumptions.

The idea helps users see data as a living network of relationships, making serious topics curious, visual, and open to exploration.

Periodic Volume Controle

A playful experiment that turns the periodic table into a system volume controller.

Each element sets the sound level based on its atomic number — higher numbers mean louder sound, and anything above 100 resets to zero. Once an element is chosen, the table reshuffles while keeping its structure intact, making every interaction unpredictable.

The idea makes users think differently about both sound and science. It adds a fun challenge while helping them remember elements through repetition, curiosity, and a bit of chaos.

Deaths due to Smoking

This project translates global smoking mortality data into clear, insightful visualisations to highlight the significant health impact of smoking.

It is important to note that these analogies assume uniform risk across the group, which may not reflect individual variations such as age, health status, socio-economic factors, and smoking prevalence. The figures are derived from global epidemiological data and serve as illustrative estimates rather than precise predictions for any specific population or subgroup.

Robocon 2020

This project was a collaborative team effort that won the National Robocon held at IIT Delhi and represented India at the International ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) in Fiji.

The 2020 theme, "Robo Rugby 7s," was inspired by Fiji’s national game of rugby. ABU Robocon is an annual competition organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union where college teams design and build robots based on cultural themes set by the host nation. In India, the event is hosted by Doordarshan and IIT Delhi, with national winners advancing to the international level.

My key role was to design and develop the robots, contributing to the team’s success in meeting the unique challenges of the contest.
