Space Out
Embodied VR experiece
This project creates an immersive VR experience that reveals how distractions affect focus by simulating the struggle of packing a suitcase with ADHD-like cognitive challenges. Through user-driven exploration, shifting sensory cues, and layered environmental storytelling, the design surfaces barriers to sustained attention and task completion. Playtesting and feedback demonstrated that placing users in a realistically distracting setting builds empathy and deepens understanding of neurodivergent experiences, validating the value of playful simulation for perspective-taking and awareness-building.
